Receiving SHM

Receiving SHM is as easy as sharing your wallet address with the sender. Follow these steps to receive SHM in your MetaMask wallet:

  1. Open your MetaMask wallet and ensure you're connected to the Shardeum network.

  2. Click on the account name or the copy icon next to it to automatically copy your wallet address. Alternatively, click on the "Receive" button to display a QR code.

  1. You can also copy your wallet address by clicking the "Copy address" button next to your address.

  2. Share this address with the person who wants to send you SHM. They will need this address to complete the transaction.

  3. Once the sender has sent SHM to your address, the transaction will appear in your activity list and your balance will update automatically.

  4. You don't need to provide any personal information or have any funds to begin receiving assets—receiving is free.

Note: Your wallet address is a public identifier for your account. It's safe to share with others for receiving tokens, but never share your private key or recovery phrase.
